China Southern Airlines Taps ARINC’s AviNet AirportTM
To Enhance Added Network Efficiency
SINGAPORE – April 13, 2007 - China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in The People’s Republic of China is pleased to announce its selection of the AviNet AirportTM network service of ARINC Incorporated to connect its host computer system at Beijing with growing International passenger operations in Australia, Korea and Japan.
ARINC’s Asia Pacific Division and China Southern Airlines’ world headquarters in Guangzhou jointly made the announcement today.
AviNet Airport is a cost-effective global IP network solution that allows airlines to network their legacy and modern applications on a single fully-managed connection.

The IP technology behind AviNet Airport supports aviation industry connectivity requirements for check-in, ticketing, baggage handling, fueling, gate management, flight information display systems (FIDS), ground-handling operations, and many other applications in the airport environment.
ARINC anticipates completing four cutovers starting in April for China Southern passenger operations at Australia’s Melbourne International Airport, Korea’s Incheon International Airport and Japan’s Kansai International and Narita International Airports.
