China Southern Airlines Celebrates 7 Years Of E-Ticketing;
Nation’s Largest Carrier Sets The Pace in China’s Aviation Industry

GUANGZHOU, China –March 30, 2007 - China Southern Airlines, (NYSE: ZNH, HKSE: 1055, SHA 600029) - www.csair.com/en - with the largest and most technically advanced aircraft fleet in The People's Republic of China has celebrated its seventh year of selling e-tickets in China.

On March 28, 2000, China Southern Airlines successfully launched the ever first “B2C” air e-ticket in mainland China, having been leading the e-business in the sector in mainland China.

And as the first airline in China to embrace e-ticketing, the airline’s commitment has never been stronger. As the carrier moves toward a 100% ticketless travel environment by the end of Year 2007, China Southern Airlines currently has more than 30% of its overall sales volume sold as e-tickets.

China Southern Airlines is currently only selling e-tickets via its Chinese web site at www.csair.com and the 2006 sales of 5.47 Billion in RMB ticket sales came predominantly from Chinese airline ticket sales.
