Brings New Adopted Baby Back Home To China;
Brand-New 737-700 Aircraft Finds A New Home In Zhuhai
SEATTLE - September 20, 2004 - China Southern Airlines (NYSE: ZNH)

Republic of China has today taken delivery of a new Boeing 737-700 series
aircraft to be used in its Zhuhai Airlines subsidiary.
The aircraft is #17 in the total order of 20 Boeing 737-800/700 aircraft.
¡°Think of this as a new adopted baby to the family,¡± said Mr. Yang
Guanghua, Executive Vice President, China Southern Airlines.
He explained that the concluding order of 737-700 aircraft which will
be made by December this year, ¡°are not new additions to China¡¯s largest
civil aviation fleet but ¡®swap-outs¡¯ for currently operating aircraft.¡±
Mr. Yang added that, ¡°we are pleased to be bringing this new baby home
to China!¡±
The new China Southern Airlines aircraft is the second brand-new Boeing
737-700 ¡°Next Generation¡± aircraft to be used in the Zhuhai marketplace.
