Summary of Coverage and Plan Features Accident Death, Burns and Dismemberment:We will pay the insured a lump sum payment in the event of death, burns or dismemberment as a result of an accident on the vehicle arrange by China Southern Airlines. Travel Delay: RMB 300 will be paid for delays in excess of 4 hours, for every 4 hours in the event of inclement weather, strike, over booking, air traffic control etc. The limitation of reimbursement is up to RMB600. Baggage Delay: We will reimbursement the insured person RMB 500 in event of delay of the baggage for every 8 hours, up to RMB 1000. Journey Cancellation: We will reimbursement the insured person RMB 300 in the event of unavoidable cancellation of travel due to inclement weather and natural disaster etc which happen 7 days before the departure date. Important Notes 1．Insured person must from 1-80 years of age inclusive upon application. For any Insured Person aged from 71 to 80 years old, half Maximum Limit under Accidental Death, Burns &Dismemberment and Double Indemnity benefits applies. 2．The special notice should be given to the insurer where the death benefit offered by this Policy and all the other commercial insurance policies for any insured under 18 years old exceed the death benefit limit for person under 18 years old specified by China Insurance Regulatory Commission (RMB100,000 for Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen and RMB50,000 for the other areas), otherwise, the insurer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the regulatory limit. 3．Covered Common Carrier: are the China Southern Airlines flights, connection bus and other vehicles arranged by China Southern Airlines. 4. This policy will not cover any loss, injury, damage or legal liability arising directly or indirectly from: Travel in ,to, or through Afghanistan, Burma, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, Sudan, or Syria. 5. This policy will not cover any terrorist or member of a terrorist organization, narcotics trafficker, or illegal purveyor of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons defined by any country or international organization. Questions & Answers (Q&A) 1.What is AIG Vehicle Journey Safe Travel Insurance? AIG Vehicle Journey Safe Travel Insurance is insured by AIG General Insurance China Limited. This plan is designed only for China Southern Airlines customers and customers could purchase this plan at www.csair.com. 2. How could I purchase AIG VJS Travel Insurance? When you visit www.csair.com to purchase China Southern Airlines flight ticket, you can purchase AIG Vehicle Journey Safe travel insurance at the same time. 3. Is there any age limitation of insured? Yes, the insured must be between 1 and 80 year old. 4. May I designate the insurance beneficial? If you haven’t designated the beneficial for accident death compensation, the death compensation would pay to your heritage legitimate successors. All the other compensations would directly pay to you. 5. May I cancel AIG Vehicle Journey Safe Travel Insurance? You can not cancel the insurance solely. But if you cancel your flight, the insurance would be cancelled automatically, and the premium would return to you with the air ticket refund together without any charge. Please notice that the insurance can not be cancelled after policy effective time, i.e. your flight scheduled departure time. Claims Process 1. How could I claim for “Travel Delay”? You need collect the “Flight delay” certification issued by China Southern Airlines, which includes flight number, date, delay length and delay reason. How could I claim for “Journey Cancellation“? You need collect the “Journey cancellation” certification issued by China Southern Airlines, which includes flight number, date, cancel reason. 3. How could I claim for “Baggage Delay“? You need collect the “Baggage Delay” certification issued by China Southern Airines, which includes flight number, date, and baggage delay time length. 4. What should I do when I claim?
